What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

Photography: A form of technology that I have used when creating my magazine is a DSLR camera, I used a Cannon D600 with a 18mm-50mm lens. I also had the settings on portrait to get the image as sharp and crisp as possible. This will then follow the convention for the striking image on the front of my magazine. I also used a light head to create, I learnt that the lighting in the image will decide where the eye of the reader will be looking. Editing: I used photoshop to edit my images and create my magazine. I have learnt what tools to use to edit my images for example lines and curves, this creates a sharper my appealing image. Also by adjusting the brightness and contrast, it will again make the image more appealing attracting the reader. Technology: All of my work was done on a computer, this has good and bad aspects. Good aspects is that all of my work is stored on blogger, so work cannot be lost and all saved in the same place. Also by doing my analysis on Flickr it's makes it easier to upload and save and access when needed again. However negative aspects are that you can only accesses the internet and a laptop/computer at limited times and not everyone has accesses to these pieces of equipment. Also a if the internet was not working then doing work was slow or not possible at all.
